Teresa took on the role of Executive Director of Cypress Hills Child Care Corporation in July 2022. Previously she served as Managing Director of Parent, Community, and Health Programs at Harlem Children’s Zone where she directed all aspects of Healthy Harlem, The Baby College, The Armory, and Community Pride and managed a partnership to ensure the success of two school-based health centers. She cultivated strategic partnerships with community organizations, nutrition, and fitness experts, and health professionals to provide enhanced services to youth, staff, and community members.

Before Harlem Children’s Zone, Teresa served as Associate Director of Recreation at St. John’s University where she created and managed programs to improve students’ health and wellness on campus. She also assisted with the opening of two new state-of-the-art facilities on campus.

She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from St. John’s University.
